The turning radius depends on the forklift model and size:
- Small (2-3 tons): 2,000 – 2,500 mm (6.5 – 8.2 feet)
- Medium (4-5 tons): 2,500 – 3,000 mm (8.2 – 9.8 feet)
- Large (7-10 tons): 3,000 – 3,800 mm (9.8 – 12.5 feet)
For tight warehouses, choose a model with a smaller turning radius. Some XCMG forklifts offer three-wheel steering for even tighter turns. Check the spec sheet of the exact model you are considering.
