Before using a forklift each day, check these items:
- Fluids – engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant (diesel models)
- Battery (electric models) – charge level and connections
- Tires – air pressure and damage
- Brakes – test before loading
- Lights and horn – working properly
- Forks – cracks or excessive wear
- Chain and mast – lubrication and smooth movement
- Leaks – look for oil or fluid under the machine
If any problem is found, fix it before operating. Daily checks prevent breakdowns and keep operators safe.
